During our recent stay at Hotel Restaurante Usategieta, we were enveloped in warmth from the moment we arrived. The cozy atmosphere, nestled among lush lawns and stunning natural landscapes, proved to be a perfect backdrop for our family getaway. Our spacious, air-conditioned room offered great comfort, complete with a mini-bar and excellent water pressure in the bathroom—a treat after a long day of exploring the area. The highlights were undoubtedly the dining experiences. We indulged in their delicious menu featuring local Basque cuisine, with fresh seasonal produce that made every meal memorable, especially the barbecued specialties. The attentive staff went above and beyond, even arranging an early breakfast for us before our departure, making us feel truly cared for. With convenient access to nearby shops, restaurants, and breathtaking views of the Bay of Biscay just a stone’s throw away, it’s easy to see Usategieta as a home base for both adventure and relaxation. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore northern Spain in comfort, especially for families who relish the outdoors and local flavors.
